I AM Coming Soon

For the month of December, we looked at John 8:58 alongside three different Old Testament passages to show how this passage fulfilled those Old Testament passages, mainly through Jesus’ words “I am.” Well, this morning, instead of looking back at how Jesus fulfilled those things, we’re looking this morning at the last “I am” in the Bible.” And in full transparency, it’s not really an “I am” in the original Greek, but it’s a product of the way we translate it in English. And yet as we come through the Christmas season, and as we come to the end of one year and the start of another, it will be of great benefit to think about these words “Surely I am coming soon.”
