Child evangelism fellowship®

Every Child, Every Nation, Every Day

CEF® is a Bible-centered, interdenominational, worldwide organization, composed of born-again believers whose purpose and mission are to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, disciple them in the Word of God, and establish them in a Bible-believing church for Christian living.
CEF® has many different ministries for children, but the primary ones are the Good News Club® and the 5-Day Club®.
The Good News Club and 5-Day Club ministries take place in neighborhood settings such as homes, backyards, schools and community centers all over the world. These fast-paced, one-hour programs are designed to bring the Gospel of Christ to children on their level in their environment.
Along with these clubs, CEF also has fair, camping, open-air, and internet ministries for children. Last year through these combined ministries over 29.2 million children worldwide heard the Good News.
Here at FSPC we support Child Evangelism Fellowship® financially and, when space is available, staff a Good News Club® at a local school.

FSPC supports Radiance through it's Baby Bottle Boomerang Campaign and the Annual Radiance 5K run held in Port Royal in March. Several members of FSPC serve on the board and volunteer at the Radiance Women's Center.

Holy trinity classical christian school

Our mission: To be distinctly classical and distinctively Christian.

Holy Trinity Classical Christian School partners with parents as they raise their children in God's Word and teach them how to apply it to every aspect of life.  Holy Trinity accomplishes this from Pre-K through 12th grade using the Trivium methodology of grammar, logic and rhetoric that has been the basis for education in Western civilization for two thousand years.  The school's philosophy of education rests on the conviction that our
students, made in the image of God, are growing in their knowledge of the Lord.  Our intention is that each student will come to love the Lord with all their heart, soul, and strength - and their mind.  In addition to our mission to be "distinctly classical and distinctively Christian," the school's vision is to cultivate joyful, virtuous, and wise citizens whose lives are built upon the bedrock of faith in Christ, taking His Gospel to the ends of the earth.

First Scots supports Holy Trinity Classical Christian School as the only classical Christian school in the local area.  Many First Scots families choose to send their children to Holy Trinity and several members work at the school or serve on the governing boards at Holy Trinity.

Samaritan's Purse®

HELPING IN JESUS' NAME®

Mission Statement:  Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-37) gives a clear picture of God’s desire for us to help those in desperate need wherever we find them. After describing how the Samaritan rescued a hurting man whom others had passed by, Jesus told His hearers, “Go and do likewise.”
For over 50 years, Samaritan’s Purse has done our utmost to follow Christ’s command by going to the aid of the world’s poor, sick, and suffering. We are an effective means of reaching hurting people in countries around the world with food, medicine, and other assistance in the Name of Jesus Christ. This, in turn, earns us a hearing for the Gospel, the Good News of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
As our teams work in crisis areas of the world, people often ask, “Why did you come?” The answer is always the same: “We have come to help you in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.” Our ministry is all about Jesus—first, last, and always. As the Apostle Paul said, “For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake” (2 Corinthians 4:5, NIV).
The mission of Operation Christmas Child® is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.
At FSPC our Shoeboxes are assembled in an "all-church" volunteer assembly line in mid November. In recent years we have packed between 1 and 3 thousand boxes.
