That You May Believe

Our Lord never hid the cost of following Him. Again and again, He reminded His disciples that His kingdom is not of this world, that His way is the way of the cross, and that to follow Him is to walk the path of suffering and self-denial. To bear His name is to bear His reproach. But take heart—though the road is hard, it leads to glory. Though the cross is heavy, He upholds those who carry it. And though the world may cast us out, Christ will never forsake His own.
