The Remedy for a Troubled Heart

Oct 5, 2025    Alex Mark

Life is full of troubles—hearts weighed down with fears, uncertainties, and disappointments. The disciples knew that feeling in the upper room when everything seemed to be falling apart. And yet, into that stormy night, Jesus spoke tenderly: “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.” He doesn’t tell us to ignore our burdens or just “stop it.” Instead, He invites us to bring them to Him, the Savior who bears our sorrows and carries our cross. In this passage, we’ll see both the reality of a troubled heart and the remedy for a troubled heart—and how trusting Jesus steadies us when everything else shakes.
